While I'm on the topic of 4x4 puzzles, I wanted to make a disassembly/re-assembly guide, so I don't have to come back and do it later. I hope this video satisfies everyone's needs! Here's a link to my tutorial on how to actually solve this puzzle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSvP2JIPhwo Here's some information and links: The Rubik's 4x4 has 55 pieces. 1 core, 8 corners, 24 center corners, and 24 edges. Just in case you lose one, you'll know what you're looking for. :) If you're a clumsy 9 year old, don't take it apart at your computer! Find a big empty spot of carpet to do it on so you don't lose pieces! If you do manage lose or break a piece on the Rubik's 4x4, and you just can't seem to find it, you can order specific replacement parts from this site: http://cubesmith.com/ This is also the best place to get replacement stickers or tiles which will fit both the Rubik's and Eastsheen brand of 4x4 cube. The Eastsheen 4x4 has 129 pieces, including screws and caps, ect. Be VERY careful when handling a partially disassembled Eastsheen 4x4, because otherwise you WILL lose some pieces forever. I recommend putting all the pieces in a popcorn tub or something, so that there's less chance of losing one. I don't know of a site to order specific replacement pieces for the Eastsheen 4x4. You can order a new one at: http://www.e-sheen.com/ or http://www.cube4you.com/ They arn't very expensive. Also, replacement stickers from Cubesmith will fit Eastsheen puzzles (Except the 2x2). If the stickers are peeling, Cubesmith is always your best bet. Here's the link to the downloadable Eastsheen instructions: http://lancetheblueknight.webs.com/ It's a bit further down the page, in the downloads box. Thanks for watching! Please comment and rate! Sep 21, 2008 - Which do you feel is better, Rubik's brand or Eastsheen brand? I'm debating whether or not to purchase my 5x5 as an Eastsheen and just upgrade all my cubes to Eastsheen, but i don't know anyone who has one to sample.

Sep 21, 2008 - Eastsheen > Rubiks, I'd go for it. If you're going to get really into 5x5, get a V5.. I'm in love with mine.
